Meet the Therapists
Jenny O'Brien, C.M.T.
Jenny is a 2003 graduate of the 646 hour Body Wellness Program at the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork. Her techniques include Swedish, Relaxation, Connective and Deep Tissue massage. She is also trained in aromatherapy, trigger point, sports and injury treatment, pre/post natal massage, hot stone massage, and body wraps. Jenny has the ability to put clients at ease, so they can relax and gain the full therapeutic benefits from massage.
Pam Robsahm, C.M.T.
Pamela graduated with honors in 2006 from the Massage Therapy program from Williston State College at the Bismark, ND campus. The program was 1500 hours, and she granted an Associates in Applied Science for Massage Therapy. Pamela is now a sustaining member of the American Massage Therapy Association, which regulates the practice of massage, manages the body of knowledge, states the scope of practice for its professional members, and provides opportunities for continuing education. Pam is experienced in many modalities including: relaxation or swedish massage, hot/cold stone, facilitated stretching, pregnancy including pre and post natal, infant massage, aromatherapy and many of the adjunct therapies. Pam specializes in deep tissue therapeutic, rehabilitative or medical massage, trigger point massage, and myofascial techniques. Her focus in practicing massage is not only to provide relief from pain and discomfort, but also to promote well-being and encourage clients to become their own advocate by taking an active role in the care of their bodies.
Dorothy Anderson, C.M.T.
Dorothy Anderson attended Minnesota School of Business, Health Science Division, which boasts a 600 hour accredited program comprised of courses of instruction in Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathology, Swedish Massage, Sport Massage, Trigger Point Massage and Deep Tissue Massage. Dorothy graduated as a Certified Massage Therapist in December 2005. Dorothy credits her drive to become a massage therapist to early childhood memories of “wanting to help people feel better”. Dorothy accesses techniques from a variety of modalities, providing a massage that is both therapeutic and extremely relaxing. Techniques used are drawn from Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point and Pregnancy massage. Dorothy’s main interest is the well-being of her clients, resulting in an individual tailor made massage sessions for each client. In addition to Massage Therapy, Dorothy is employed as a Special Education Paraprofessional by the Anoka-Hennepin School District, specializing in Autism. Dorothy’s knowledge and understanding of Autism in conjunction with Massage Therapy has allowed her opportunities to effectively meet the sensory integration needs of several students with Autism. Dorothy is a 14 year resident of Ramsey. She is married with two children. In her free time, Dorothy enjoys computer activities, listening to music, working out at the gym and spending time with family, friends and the two family dogs. Dorothy demonstrates a great passion and respect for the healing touch of massage therapy and looks forward to the opportunity to support you in your journey to improved health and balance in your life.
